How much does Argiline cost?
Argiline costs €66.25 excluding VAT per 10 kg bucket and comes in 24 colours. Coverage is about 1 kg per m², so roughly €6.63 per m² of surface.
How much product do I need per m²?
Each plaster has its own coverage. Argiline covers about 1 kg/m². EasyClay requires 1.4 kg per m² per millimetre of thickness. Argibase uses 16 kg per m² for 1 cm — a 25 kg bag covers about 1.56 m².
How much does EasyClay cost?
EasyClay costs €46.48 excluding VAT per bucket, or about €4.65/kg. Applied at 1.5 mm it works out at about €9.77 per m².
How much does Argibase cost?
Argibase comes in a 25 kg bag at €15.00 excluding VAT (€0.60/kg) or in a 1,000 kg big bag at €362.50 (€0.36/kg). Applied at 1 cm, expect about €9.60 per m² using bags.
What is the difference between Argiline and EasyClay?
Argiline is a fine clay finishing coat, 1 to 1.5 mm per layer, in 24 colours. EasyClay is a coloured smoothing plaster designed for plasterboard and fibre-gypsum boards, applied in layers of 0.5 to 3 mm.
Which substrates are these plasters suitable for?
Argibase needs a rough, rigid, sound and absorbent substrate, in a 0.5 to 2 cm layer. EasyClay goes onto plasterboard, fibre-gypsum boards or a coat of Argibase. Argiline needs a flat, non-powdering substrate, in one or two coats.
Coverage figures come from the manufacturer's technical data sheets; they vary with the flatness and absorbency of the substrate. Always run a test on a sample area.
